DON'T KNOW MUCH ABOUT HISTORY
Yes, that would be the smart thing to do, wouldn't it? Stay in school. The scene in SF won't take off for a few years anyway. Too bad you're not too smart. You struggle through the rest of your junior year. A guidance counselor suggests you might be better suited for secretarial school. Hands on home row, you wait for another invitation from your best friend, a chance to escape your clerical fate. But your friend found a new best friend locally. You learn to type and spend the rest of your life in the secretarial pool at Capitol records. You get a lot of free records and you listen to them...wondering what might have been.
